ASAGI: Jurnal Sosiologi Agama Indonesia is a peer-reviewed international journal published twice a year (January–June and July–December). The journal is dedicated to advancing scholarly research and theoretical studies in the field of the sociology of religion, with a particular emphasis on the Indonesian context and the academic environment of religious higher education institutions.

The journal is dedicated to advancing scholarly research and theoretical studies in the field of the sociology of religion, with a particular emphasis on the Indonesian context and the academic environment of religious higher education institutions. ASAGI publishes original, high-quality articles that have not been previously published, covering a wide range of issues such as the social role of religion, religion and state relations, religious pluralism, religious movements, modernity, religious rituals, identity, education, gender issues, and religion’s role in social conflict and transformation. The journal welcomes contributions from a broad range of authors, including academics, lecturers, researchers, and practitioners, both within and beyond State Islamic Religious Universities. It aims to be a platform for critical dialogue and the dissemination of scientific knowledge that enriches the study of religion and society from a sociological perspective. |
